Sue Creek Transformation

Upon viewing the property situated on Sue Creek near Baltimore the owner saw the potential for this to become a lovely waterfront home, but the existing structure was crying for help.  When we were asked to intervene, the project was a shell of a house with mismatched materials and more unfinished spaces than finished ones.

To call this renovation a “dramatic transformation” is an understatement.  With the exception of the screen porch addition, construction took place over the original footprint. The house began as a one and a half story structure with uncomfortable, oddly shaped rooms and circulation spaces.  It has been transformed into a beautiful two and a half story, three-bedroom home with a nautical feel.  It now features a generous master suite with the highlight being a crow’s nest and widow’s walk, providing expansive views of the Chesapeake.

In addition to the exquisite views from the crow’s nest and balcony, the new bluestone terrace and screen porch on the south offer the owners plenty of opportunity to enjoy their new home’s location.
