This addition filled the center of a formerly dark and awkwardly configured U-shaped house with a sunny sitting room addition. The renovation also included the updating of an existing, oppressive "seating pit" into a central media room. This project was selected as a winner of an award in the American Society of Interior Designers/Baltimore Magazine awards program. The ASID/Baltimore Magazine jury praised the design "that opened up the house to contemporary living."
