Penza Associates Architects, Inc. was engaged to provide a comprehensive assessment of the existing facility to evaluate access to the building as mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act. A detailed report was delivered to the client, including a comprehensive business plan that prioritized suggested renovation efforts to be undertaken over a several year period. As a result of the investigation, a number of renovation efforts were undertaken, including the creation of accessible parking and accessible ramps at the main entrance to the building. These alterations were seamlessly integrated into the existing landscape, proving once again that accessible design can be achieved in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
